Why Riveted Aluminum
- Why choose a riveted aluminum hull design? The aircraft industry has
assembled airplanes with rivets for over 50 years and for a good reason.
Rivets hold up to stress loads better than any other fastening method
bar none. We back this belief with a LIFETIME WARRANTY on all riveted
seams and a 10 year STEM TO STERN WARRANTY on the entire hull. One Piece Bottoms - Smoker Craft boats start with a one piece, heavy gauge bottom, many being .125" thick. Double Riveted Seams - Double riveted seams join the sides to the hull. Our sides feature a rolled spray rail (not bent or riveted) which minimizes spray and lap strakes for added strength. |

AIRS - Up front in the bow where the real pounding takes place, goes the A.I.R.S. system of hand fitted hat shaped ribs. Our exclusive hat shaped rib design out performs the competition for strength and dependability. Moving aft you'll find hand fitted ribs secured on 10" centers. Longitudinal stringers are then added to span the ribs and up to five keels are riveted through the ribs and bottom to form a light weight, integrated system that is specifically designed to meet the rigors of your boating life style. |

Unique Foam Process - What you can't see under the deck is important to your safety and comfort too. We fill every cavity under the deck with a fuel resistant urethane foam. This is done after the deck is installed. It is important to note this process because foam applied in this manner fills the entire cavity eliminating the possibility of air pockets which may allow water to collect under the deck. In addition to the obvious benefit of positive buoyancy, foam gives support to the deck and reduces noise giving you a solid and quiet ride. |

On top of the deck we use only 100% UV stabilized marine grade carpet that greatly resists fading, is easy to keep clean, feels great and is backed by a 5 Year Warranty. High quality marine vinyl is available on selected models. |

Exterior Finish - No boat is complete without a great looking and durable finish and ours makes the grade. We have developed an in house painting process that is second to none. It begins with a special primer which creates a secure bonding surface for the paint. Two coats of urethane paint are then applied and baked onto the hull creating a high luster finish that is extremely scratch resistant and ultimately appealing. |
